German Speaking Intern for a Travel Desk

Company: This company provides services and assistance to work and travel in Australia, New Zealand and Canada. Their packages include personal travel advice, assistance to find accommodation, transport reservation services, etc... However, they are designed to suit everyone and all budgets. You will be part of an international team of consultants who are all experts in their own field and will gladly provide you with on-going training, mentoring and support during your internship.

Ideal Candidate:

• Dynamic, self confident, ambitious
• Fluent in German and English
• Sales and business negotiation skills
• Available for a minimum of 4 months, ideally 6 months
• A candidate who has already travelled along the East Coast and experienced Fraser Island and the Whitsundays will be really appreciated

Missions:Marketing and Communication Key Responsibilities

• Promote the company on social networks
• Bring new customers into the agency
• Send monthly travel specials emails to their members
• Arrange surf and campervan rental companies talks
• Public speaking: Travel presentation for 30 to 45 minutes to every new member arriving in Sydney (in front of 1 to 50 people)
Consulting and Sales Key Responsibilities:
• Consult and advise customers on travel, on destinations, seasons and general questions
• Provide quotations to customers by email and face to face
• Direct face to face appointments with members and customers
• Arrange travel calendars and itineraries
• Book travel products in Australia, Fidji islands, New Zealand and South Asia including flights, bus passes, tour, activities, accommodations, car and campervans
• Arrange whole packages with discount
• Make sure the follow up booking is done
• Manage the refund process and after-sales service

Location - Starting Month ASAPSydney2 positions

Duration - Time per week4 month minimum - 6 month ideallyFull time: Mondays to Fridays from 9:30 am until 5:30 pm

Allowance$800/month + Bonus + Opportunities to experience tours and activities for free
